It's Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead. I have posted about this before, but this is really the fist time I have created my own "shrine".
Our shrine combines a mix of both Mark's and mine friends and relatives, and some of or favorite people such as Jerry Garcia and Stanley Mouse.
We have tried to represent as many of our family and loved ones as possible with small tokens of remembrance; photos, candles, colorful flowers, fruits & gourds, favorite beverages and food offerings.
Used as the foundation of our shrine, is the old antique Philco given to Mark by his Grandfather, someday we will get that baby running....
