We take advantage of every opportunity to be outdoors and enjoy the San Diego sunshine. One of our favorite activities is playing Bocce. It's free, it gets you outdoors and provides moderate exercise while having fun.
There are hundreds of parks and grassy areas perfect for a game of bocce, you can pretty much play anywhere. It is fast becoming a popular activity for young and old, it's a perfect game for the whole family.
You can get a really good set for about $100, but you could also find a decent set for under $50.
